I too write travelogues and fill unsuspecting friends and family's inboxes with the obnoxiously long things. As gratifying as it is to hear them say I'm hysterical and that I should write a book, I know how hard it is to do just that. (Plus I figured that just because I write entertaining travelogues, what were the odds that I'd write anything book length that people unrelated to me would want to read.)
